Communications & Awareness Raising

Bringing together stakeholders all over the globe

Communication is becoming crucial for building trustful relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and of immense importance to the effectiveness of a project. Indeed, there is an increasing need to bring to the fore and disseminate best practices and actual results of projects to a wide range of stakeholders.

Thanks to its ever-growing experience in the field of communication and media and its global outreach, MWH Belgium can rely on a rich reservoir of communication experts who help develop and implement targeted and effective communication strategies, tailored for different types of stakeholders.

Examples of our experience:

  • In the framework of the EU- funded project “OPEN Neighbourhood - Communicating for a stronger partnership: connecting with citizens across the Southern Neighbourhood”, MWH contributes to the improvement of the public perception of the EU and understanding of European policies and their impact in several countries in Northern Africa and the Middle East. Thanks to a strong network of local partners and both in-house and external experts, MWH implements activities involving a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • For the GCCA+ Support Facility, MWH organises regional dialogue events (high level conferences) on climate change between the European Union and target countries in Brussels with more than 180 international participants each (supervision of all logistics and production of materials), including the production of videos/interviews, annual brochure and fact sheets/flyers. MWH also produced the GCCA website which holds all relevant and useful information for GCCA stakeholders and managed the GCCA Community on Cap4Dev awarded as one of the most outstanding project forums on the platform.
  • In the ISLANDS & WIOCC Initiative, MWH developed the content of the Knowledge Management and Communication Strategy; coordinated the Regional Communication Working Group; developed the WIOCC brochure and visual identity and prepared a Communication Workplan/Action plan 2015/2016, as well as developed and maintained the website.
