MWH in the Netherlands is certified for the third rung of the CO2 Performance Ladder by the SKAO (Stichting Klimaatvriendelijk Aanbesteden & Ondernemen), an independent foundation for climate-friendly business and procurement in the Netherlands. The CO2 Performance Ladder is a tool that was introduced to stimulate companies to act CO2-consciously, by saving energy, making efficient use of materials and renewable energy. MWH has the ambition to by 2015 reduce CO2 emissions by 30% compared to 2011. To achieve this we are constantly monitoring and improving the environmental effects of our movements, offices, and practices. Even in our projects we identify reduction opportunities for our clients to help them make environmentally conscious choices of for example materials.
In addition to the CO2 Performance Ladder, MWH is certified to:
- BTR for safe working on railway tracks
