Objectives of the project:
The overall objective is to increase the resilience of ACP regions and countries, to climate change and achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goa ls in particular its Goal 13 “Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts” in order to alleviate poverty and promote sustainable development.
The specific objective (outcome) is better regional and national adaptation and mitigation responses to climate change challenges faced by ACP countries at operational, institutional and financial levels .
Qualifications and skills
- At least a master’s degree or equivalent in environmental science, development studies, economics, natural resource management, or related fields;
- An excellent verbal and written command of English and at least a working knowledge of French
- Excellent management and communication skills are essential
General professional experience
- At least 7 years of work experience, with increasing levels of responsibility, in the field of Climate Change and Environment sector development,
- Substantial international consulting experience would be an

- At least 3 years of work with organisational and administration experience preferably in dealing with development and/or climate change matters and technical assistance service delivery;
- Good knowledge of Climate Change development aspects and its adaptation component in particular;
