- Qualifications and skills
- At least a Master degree (or equivalent) in environmental engineering, environmental management or relevant technical studies; in the absence of a master degree (or equivalent), a minimum of 5 additional years of professional experience on top of the 10 years of general professional experience mentioned below;
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); working command of spoken Russian is an advantage.
- General professional experience
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in environmental issues;
- Experience of at least 3 years of work within an EU/EU member states’ environmental regulatory agency in the air quality monitoring sector will be considered an advantage.
- Specific professional experience
- At least 5 years’ experience with the implementation of air quality monitoring systems and assessment, and use of relevant software and instrumentation; Experience in developing of air quality monitoring software will be considered and advantage.
- Experience as key expert in at least 2 technical assistance projects in the field of air quality data collection;
- Experience as key expert in at least 2 technical assistance projects including tasks of air quality equipment installation and/or up-grade;
- Proven experience in organising and delivering training, workshops and thematic working groups.
