- Qualifications and skills
- At least a Master degree (or equivalent) in environment, natural sciences or environmental engineering; in the absence of a master degree (or equivalent), a minimum of 5 additional years of professional experience on top of the 10 years of general professional experience mentioned below;
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); working command of spoken Russian is an advantage.
- General professional experience
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in environmental issues;
- Specific professional experience
- At least 5 years’ experience in environmental permitting, related regulations and with the implementation of air quality emissions data systems, emissions inventory systems, and/or emission data and inventory QA/QC management;
- Minimum of 3 years of working in the field of air quality and climate change issues as an expert in donor funded technical assistance projects. Projects implemented in the Eastern Partnership or CIS/former Soviet Union countries are an advantage.
- Proven experience in organising and facilitating training, workshops and thematic working groups.
