Moncada Energy Group (MEG) is the Sponsor of a 10 + 6 MWp PV park made up of 25,776 thin-film modules to be installed in Oryahovo, south of Bulgaria. This project will be financed according a “Project Finance scheme”, thus UniCredit Bulbank has retained MWH as independent technical advisor of this project.
The activities performed by the Italian MWH team include three phases:
Phase 1: technical advising services with review of technical documents. MWH has evaluated the expected production and the financial model that has been analyzed based on the technical model. Environmental and social documents are reviewd as well to verify the compliance with the national law and Bank Equator Principles.
Phase 2: Monitoring of construction to be completed within three monts. MWH will also be charge to supervise the test fot the “Temporary Acceptance Certification”.
Phase 3: Monitoring of the operation during the following 5 years to verify the yearly performances and maintenance of the plant in compliance with O&M Contract. MWH will supervise the test for the “Final Acceptance Certification” at the end of the first year.
