The Resource Efficiency Programme for the Seychelles Water Sector, is part of Phase 1 of the broader “Project Neptune” Water and Sanitation Programme. MWH provides services for energy efficiency, water demand management and drought risk mitigation, each constituting a separate sub programme. The beneficiary is the Public utilities Corporation (PUC).
The Energy Efficiency Programme consists of energy audit and equipment for reduction of energy consumption purpose.
The Water Demand Management Programme consists of awareness campaigns, promotion of by-laws, water saving devices, rainwater harvesting and household water storage for water demand management purpose.
