Principal Geotechnical Engineer
Mr. Strachan is a geotechnical engineer with over 35 years of experience, primarily with mines and residual mined materials. Experience has ranged from planning, design, and permitting through construction and operation, to closure and reclamation. Facilities have included mill tailings storage facilities, water storage dams, and associated mined material storage landforms. These projects have been in North and South America, southern Africa, Australia and New Zealand. This range of experience, from initial planning through reclamation at these various sites, has been useful providing guidance to clients in successful management of the water and other materials associated with mining operations.
