Danny Bay

Water Resources Manager, Senior Hydrogeologist

Danny is a senior hydrogeologist and project manager for MWH with nearly 7 years of experience at MWH. During this time, he has participated in and managed several mining projects related to tailings dams, waste rock piles and open pits at some of the largest operating mines in Peru, including Cerro Corona, Cerro Verde, and Antamina. Project responsibilities typically range from proposal and field investigation development, to project execution, conceptual model development, and reporting. Danny is also responsible for ensuring that the projects proceed on schedule, within scope, and on budget.

Though based in Peru, Danny received his BS in Environmental Science from Queen’s University (Ontario) and his MS in Hydrogeology from the University of British Columbia.
