The annual rankings recognize public and private companies that excel in leadership development

Broomfield, Colo., February 3, 2015 – MWH Global, an engineering, consulting and construction firm focused on water and natural resources, has again been named by Chief Executive magazine as one of the Best Companies for Leaders.

Each year since 2005, Chief Executive has published lists of public and private companies that excel in leadership development. In particular, they place emphasis on what the firms do to identify and nurture people three or more levels down from the Chief Executive Officer.

The 2015 lineup includes several Fortune 100 companies: General Electric, IBM, Procter & Gamble and Verizon Communications. Moving up from its 2014 ranking (#9), MWH Global placed #5 on the list of Top 10 Private Companies and was one of only two firms in its field to be recognized.

“This honor reinforces the strong focus that MWH places on leadership development,” said MWH Global Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Alan Krause. “We have long supported our executives with leadership development opportunities such as our internally developed Inspirational Leadership course. In recent years, we have expanded our leadership development and mentoring efforts, and we have increased our focus on gender diversity and high-potential staff sponsorship so we can ensure that we have strong leadership to take us into a vibrant future.”

Rounding out the 2015 Best Private Companies for Leaders were Deloitte, Hilti, Dell, Transplace, Black & Veatch, AlliedBarton Security Services, Belron, Day & Zimmermann and NAACO Industries.

The magazine’s annual rankings are conducted in partnership with Chally Group Worldwide, a sales and leadership research and consulting firm headquartered in Dayton, Ohio.
