Recently Minería Pan Americana spotlighted a project, Cerro Verde, which MWH has been involved with in Arequipa, Peru. The project “will significantly improve water quality, reduce health and environmental risks for the local community and allow farmers to sell their produce internationally for a higher price.” This new wastewater treatment plant is the most advanced plant the country has seen.
