MWH Treatment has received industry recognition from the Considerate Constructor’s Scheme (CCS) for the high standards attained by the team at Bamford WTW.
Proving that they have the right attitude, this is the second CCS award presented to the Bamford team. The aim of the CCS is to improve the image of construction. Awards are rarely presented to the same site in consecutive years. In itself this is a great accolade and shows the Bamford team’s commitment to establishing and maintaining the highest of standards.
The site was highly commended for the standards reached in the categories of:
- Considerate
- Appearance
- Safety
- Accountable
- Environment
- Respectful
- Responsible
Severn Trent Water’s Programme Manager comments, “Many congratulations to the whole team for achieving this award. I know that a lot of hard work has gone into maintaining a good working relationship with our neighbours and the wider community at Bamford. Well done, and keep it going!”
The 2012 CCS National Awards involved an entry list of more than 8,500 sites of which only 7½% received awards. The award and the site are a credit to MWH Treatment and the team involved.
