MWH Environmental Scientist Receives American Water Works Association 2015 Best Paper Award

Joan Oppenheimer MWHWe are proud to announce that a paper authored by Principal Environmental Scientist Joan Oppenheimer was recently ranked as best in class by the American Water Works Association (AWWA) at the 2015 AWWA Annual Conference & Exposition (ACE15) in Anaheim, California.

Joan’s paper, “Urban Water Cycle Energy Use and Greenhouse Gas Emissions”, was selected as winner of the 2015 AWWA Water Resources Sustainability Division Best Paper Award.

Joan’s paper was recognized as part of proceedings at ACE15 where she was presented her award by Chi Ho Sham, TEC Vice-Chair.
