Amy Clore, Environmental Engineer at MWH Auckland, won the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand (EIANZ) 2010 Tor Hundloe Award for Young Environmental Professional of the Year in October. During her time with MWH, Amy has developed impressive environmental engineering and science skills particularly in relation to odour and air discharge assessments, environmental management and solid waste assessments.
The award recognises her unique ability to maintain a field of specialism and her experience in delivering a broad range of environmental projects. Amy exhibits many special qualities well beyond her age and experience in promoting best environmental practice, evidenced by the significant number of industry and community activities she is involved in including Committee Member of the Clean Air Society of Australia and New Zealand (CASANZ) and Chairperson of the Training Subcommittee, and volunteer work through Futureintech with Beachlands Primary School and as a Water For People volunteer in Cambodia.
