In partnership with the American Society of Civil Engineers, MWH Global held a hands-on STEM workshop at the Louisiana Art & Science Museum where the next generation learned about the importance of water recycling and conservation. Assisted by MWH engineers, students built their own water filtration system using common household items.
“It’s important that everyone know, in particular kids, the full cycle of water, and that will help them understand how they can play a part in helping with some of the issues we face today,” said Pamela Gonzales Granger, Louisiana Section President, American Society of Civil Engineers.
