Reporter Maya Rodriguez, of 9 News in Denver, Colorado, recently traveled to Panama to report on the newly expanded Panama Canal.
Her extensive footage resulted in a 30-minute special that documents the history of the canal and the recently completed Third Set of Locks project. “Bridging Oceans: The Panama Canal,” takes the audience from the streets of Panama City, into the depths of the rainforest, and onto an active construction site, introducing the audience to this engineering marvel.
The piece features multiple MWH engineers, including Senior VP Mario Finis. “What we’ve done today is going to last another 100 years,” states Finis. MWH was the lead designer for the Third Set of Locks Expansion Project. To learn more about the role of MWH on this megaproject visit: www.mwhglobal.com/panama
