Dr. Kati Bell, global water reuse practice leader for MWH, will be one of the presenters in the upcoming Water Environment Foundation (WEF) Webcast: UV Disinfection for Wastewater: Low Dose Applications, on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 from 1-3 PM ET. Dr. Bell brings more than 20 years of experience to her applied reuse research and work focusing on treatment methods in water reclamation.
This webcast will provide insights from the recent WEF publication “Ultraviolet Disinfection for Wastewater: Low-Dose Application Guidance for Secondary and Tertiary Discharges”, which was co-authored by Dr. Bell. Participants will be presented with a summary of the information in the publication, including the selection, design, construction, and operation of UV systems in basic level disinfection applications.
The webcast will also provide the most recent information on what UV disinfection approaches are being used in the industry. Case studies will be provided to help utilities better utilize UV disinfection in low dose applications.
This webcast is free to WEF members, and there is a $40 fee to nonmembers. 2.0 Professional Development Hours (PDHs) are also offered for this webcast. For more information, go to: http://www.wef.org/webcasts or click the image below.
