This new award was presented to HR director for MWH, Jeannie Edwards, in recognition of the outstanding contribution she has made both to ACE (Association for Consultancy and Engineering) and to the wider industry. The winner of this special award is chosen by the ACE chief executive and chairman who selected MWH director of human resources for Europe-Africa, Jeannie Edwards who has been on the ACE board for over ten years.
Commenting on the award, chief executive, Nelson Ogunshakin, OBE said that she was the first lady to serve on the board of ACE adding; “Jeannie also holds the honor of being the first non-engineer to serve on the board. Her integrity and commitment has helped her reach a senior leadership position in a major global business. She is a passionate advocate for engineering, skills and people development, and has led ACE’s work on human resources and health & safety.”
