MWH today announced Stefan Schuster will join the company in the capacity of Water Resources Strategy Leader for Texas, in the Central Region. Schuster brings 20 years of professional experience in the water resources industry.“We are very fortunate to have Stefan join our leadership team,” said Bruce Howard, Americas president of government and infrastructure for MWH. “Stefan brings an extensive knowledge of the water resources market combined with extensive consulting experience. We look forward to bringing his expertise to our current and future clients.”
In his new role at MWH as Water Resources Strategy Leader in Texas, Schuster is responsible for integrating the full suite of MWH wet infrastructure services across Texas, engaging with key clients, and identifying client needs and appropriate consulting solutions.
Schuster has extensive experience as a project manager, hydrologist, and water resource planner working on diverse water resource planning projects throughout Texas. He is also proficient in surface and groundwater availability modeling, water quality analyses, policy development and implementation, GIS, water rights, and public involvement. During his career, Schuster has been a lecturer at the University of Texas, Austin where he taught graduate water resources planning courses.
Schuster holds master’s degrees in geological science and community & regional planning from the University of Texas and a bachelor’s in geophysics from the University of Texas. He is a licensed professional geoscientist in Texas and is based in Austin, Texas.
