Education: Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)
Job Overview: I work as a senior consultant with multi-disciplinary teams on transport infrastructure projects, typically with durations of six to twelve months. My skill set is focused around projects at the pre-feasibility and feasibility stage.
How I ended up at MWH: A friend from university, who also works at MWH, got in touch with me about moving firms and it snowballed from there!
What is on my desk right now: A project brief for a light rail project in Australia as well as CVs and capability statements from our partners; a working paper I recently reviewed for a client; a copy of a submission we recently sent.
Free time activities: I work full-time and study part-time, so much of my time outside of work is spent on campus. I love to spend time with my husband and two fur kids - Burmese cats. At the moment I am also making my way through the latest season of House of Cards, a political thriller starring Kevin Spacey, who is truly amazing in his role. In Melbourne we are spoilt with a plethora of cafes and restaurants, so I enjoy trying these out with friends and family.
Best career advice I’ve ever received: Keep track of your achievements and accomplishments. Record them somewhere, and re-read them every so often to remind yourself of your successes.

Experiences at MWH: Recently I’ve also been involved with MWH projects in Fiji, which has meant working closely with our Fijian staff. I’ve really enjoyed sharing technical knowledge and mentoring the MWH Project Manager working on the Greater Suva Transport Strategy – it’s been a really positive and rewarding experience.
I was lucky enough to attend the Transport Treasures course in 2011 and a Developing Future Leaders course in 2012. Both of these courses were run by MWHU and were fantastic. A part from the learnings, the best part about the course was forming relationships with people from across the company’s market sectors and regions, e.g. Singapore, Taiwan, NZ and other parts of Australia.

The team site will enable us to more easily share IP, thought leadership case studies, articles, project learnings and other useful reference material. The site will be set up with a common landing page, and from there we’ll be able to navigate around the different regions’ pages and browse content.
