Helene Ahlborg and Martin Sjöstedt of the Chalmers University of Technology’s Department of Energy and Environment in GÖteborg found that community ownership, stakeholder involvement and the building of local competences are among the key factors to ensure the success of off-grid mini-hydropower projects in Tanzania.
