As a proud employer of veterans, MWH, now part of Stantec, honored and showed gratitude to our veteran employees. To do so, a certificate of appreciation and special coin was created and given to all employee veterans across the United States to commemorate the sacrifices they’ve made.
At our corporate headquarters, a special ceremony was held where Chief Financial Officer David Barnes presented the certificate and coin to the 15 employee veterans who currently work in the Broomfield, Colorado office. Also, employees participated in a fundraiser for the local Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Foundation and Veterans Assistance Programs. Employees were able to donate to the casue, and in turn received a remembrance Red Poppy Flower to wear. In total, we were able to donate $202.00 to the VFW.
