Warrington, UK – Global engineering and consultancy leader, MWH, has agreed to a three-year partnership with SEAMS, a Sheffield-based specialist technology provider, to deploy investment planning systems developed by SEAMS to the European water and wastewater sector.
The SEAMS decision-support technology, WiLCO, provides a framework that allows executives to make complex investment decisions regarding water and wastewater infrastructure. Using WiLCO typically achieves savings of 5-10% over traditional methods of investment decision support.
Mark Bottomley, Senior Principal Consultant with MWH UK, comments: “Innovative technology like WiLCO can add value to the services delivered to our clients and is therefore key to MWH strategic programs. Following successful deployment of the WiLCO software in the UK water industry, MWH is looking forward to working with SEAMS to deliver innovative investment planning services into the European sector.”
Dr Peter Skipworth, Managing Director of SEAMS, added: “The partnership will bring together a unique blend of our innovative software and MWH’s consultancy experience. I am looking forward to working with the MWH team within a new geographical sector for SEAMS. We will be providing a range of services via the new WiLCO architecture.”
