Firm Holds #1 Ranking in Water Engineering Services for Third Year

Brussels, Belgium – According to the New Civil Engineer (NCE) Consultants File 2004, MWH has again maintained and expanded its leadership role in professional engineering services. NCE, the leading UK-based weekly civil and structural engineering publication, annually tracks UK-based consulting firms by total fees rendered in a number of civil and structural engineering categories.

This year’s survey ranked MWH first in Water for the third year in a row. In addition, the survey placed the firm in the top 10 for Waste and Environmental work, strongly reflecting the company’s specialized strengths in these sectors. In addition, MWH’s growing client base in the European power market helped boost the company to #17, up from #26 the previous year.

As part of the Consultants File 2004 survey, NCE also compiles global rankings for organizations with UK-based operations. This year’s global rankings further reflected MWH’s industry leadership, positioning the firm second in water, second in waste and fourth in power services to world market customers.

MWH President, Rich Wankmuller, reflects, “The NCE rankings re-affirm our company’s position as the leading source of engineering and consulting services in the UK and around the globe. We are committed to further expanding this role, bringing affordable, efficient solutions to the region’s most complex problems.”
