General Manager, Urban Planning and Environmental Services - Australia New Zealand

Mayurie Gunatilaka is the General Manger for Urban Planning and Environmental Services for Australia and New Zealand. She is responsible for business performance and development, client delivery and stakeholder liaison. Mayurie has been with MWH Global for fifteen years; previously she worked for Environment Canterbury.

Mayurie brings her experience in leading a team responsible for consenting complex infrastructure in an economically, socially and environmentally responsible manner to help the Clients achieve their Vision and Objectives. Mayurie also has experience in assisting infrastructure owners including NZTA, Watercare, Local and Central Government, to understand and respond to the challenges they face.

Mayurie holds a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics and Physics) and a Master of Science in Nuclear Physics from the University of Auckland. In 2009 Mayurie was recognised as a future leader in consulting engineering as a Finalist in the Telecom/ACENZ Future Leader awards.
