Global engineering and consulting firm MWH, now part of Stantec, has promoted David Hogg to the role of General Manager, Water for New Zealand.
Asia-Pacific Managing Director Mark Bruzzone said, ‘David is a natural fit to lead our New Zealand Water business. His extensive experience in managing critical water-related projects is complemented by his strong project knowledge, ability to develop and maintain key client relationships, and his in-depth grasp of the New Zealand water market.’
As the General Manager of Water, David Hogg will strategically lead the company’s suite of integrated water, wastewater, stormwater, solid waste and general, civil, engineering and management services across the sector.
‘We are fortunate enough to deliver projects that bring about positive social change for communities all across New Zealand,’ said Mr Hogg. ‘What we do and the team we have to deliver it make a real difference to the places where we live and work.’
With staff across 14 offices that cover the length and breadth of New Zealand, Mr Hogg will also play to his strengths as a leader who thrives in a collaborative environment.

Mr Hogg is a proven Project Manager of water and wastewater projects. In the last few years his experience extends to successfully managing the Kilbirnie Catchment Modelling Scoping Study, the Wellington Cross Harbour Pipeline Feasibility Study and the Rimutaka Flood Protection Project for the Department of Corrections.
