In response to the disturbing water situation currently facing Flint, Michigan, Marshall Davert, President of Government and Infrastructure in Asia Pacific and the Americas, talks to American City & County stressing the importance of partnerships. He states, “municipal leaders and the private sector must collaborate to find cost-effective, sustainable solutions to ensure clean drinking water for residents now and in the future.”
He then goes on to add how citizens should also be involved in this partnering to ensure the safety of their cities by asking and learning about their community’s water sources. “Education remains a powerful tool to ensure the long-term safety and success of your city,” says Marshall.
