Phil Crouse
Principal Engineer, Americas Region
Phil has been delivering infrastructure design and construction projects for the mining and industrial industry for more than 27 years. He has been the Principal-In-Charge of complex multi-disciplinary projects for mine development, reclamation, closure, solid and hazardous waste disposal facilities in Africa, Europe, and North and South America. One could say infrastructure engineering and construction is in Phil’s blood. While growing up, Phil gained experience working at his family’s heavy civil construction business; he has used this experience to create safe, innovative solutions that meet the unique needs of each customer, therefore, further developing his passion for customer service. His technical expertise is in geotechnical and geo-environmental engineering, containment facilities, liners and covers, geosynthetics, slope stability, water and material balance, erosion and surface water control, groundwater collection systems, slurry walls, demolition, subsurface investigations and dams. Phil received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from University of Wyoming and his M.S. in Civil Engineering with a geotechnical focus from the University of Colorado.
